Lucas Thomazinho

Premiado como finalista no XIX Santander International Piano Competition (Espanha), Lucas Thomazinho nasceu em 1995 e vem desenvolvendo uma trajetória de destaque. Já venceu uma série de concursos, dentre eles, o 1º lugar no XVIII Santa Cecília International Competition (Portugal), o 2º lugar e o prêmio do público no I Teresa Carreño International Piano Competition (Miami). Premiado também no V Concurso Internacional BNDES de Piano, no Concurso Internacional de Interpretação Pianística da obra do compositor Osvaldo Lacerda e no PIANALE International Academy & Competition (Alemanha). Atuou como solista de orquestras como a RTVE Symphony Orchestra, a Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo, a Sinfônica Municipal de SP, a Filarmônica de Minas Gerais, a Sinfônica de Campinas, sob a condução de maestros como Marin Alsop, Miguel Ángel Gómez Martíneze e Dean Whiteside. Como camerista, atuou com músicos como Emmanuele Baldini e Elizabeth Chang, tendo já se apresentado na 2ª edição do festival “The Music World” no Teatro Micaelense em Ponta Delgada (Portugal), na Sala São Paulo, no Teatro Municipal de São Paulo, na Sala Cecília Meireles, dentre outros. Em 2017 foi lançado o seu primeiro CD pelo selo KNS Classical. Foi bolsista da Fundação Magda Tagliaferro e em 2019 finalizou o bacharelado na USP sob a orientação do professor Eduardo Monteiro. Atualmente, com uma bolsa de estudos da Sociedade de Cultura Artística, cursa o Mestrado no New England Conservatory em Boston.


Awarded as a finalist in the XIX Santander International Piano Competition (Spain), Lucas Thomazinho was born in 1995 and has been developing a distinguished career. He has already won a number of competitions, including 1st place at the XVIII Santa Cecília International Competition (Portugal), 2nd place and the Audience Award at the I Teresa Carreño International Piano Competition (Miami). Also awarded at the V BNDES International Piano Competition, at the International Pianistic Competition for Interpreting the work of composer Osvaldo Lacerda and at the PIANALE International Academy & Competition (Germany). 

He has performed as a soloist in orchestras such as the RTVE Symphony Orchestra, the São Paulo State Symphony, the SP Municipal Symphony, the Minas Gerais Philharmonic, the Campinas Symphony, under the baton of conductors such as Marin Alsop, Miguel Ángel Gómez Martineze and Dean Whiteside. As a chamber musician, he performed with artists such as Emmanuele Baldini and Elizabeth Chang, having already performed at the 2nd edition of the “The Music World” festival at Teatro Micaelense in Ponta Delgada (Portugal), at Sala São Paulo, at Teatro Municipal de São Paulo, at Cecília Meireles Room, among others. In 2017 his first CD was released on the KNS Classical label. 

He received a scholarship from the Magda Tagliaferro Foundation and in 2019 he completed his bachelor’s degree at USP under the guidance of Professor Eduardo Monteiro. Currently, with a scholarship from the Society for Artistic Culture, he is studying for a Masters Degree at the New England Conservatory in Boston.
