O grupo surgiu a partir do encontro dos músicos Mari Kerber ao piano, Júlia Pezzi no contrabaixo e Rhuan de Moura na bateria, no intuito de trazer uma experiência musical divertida no palco e fora dele, com arranjos de blues, jazz e músicas autorais. Sua primeira aparição foi no projeto Sofar Sounds e no Camaleão Fest: Autoestima contra o Câncer – Ministério do Turismo. Pianista, compositora e cantora, Mari Kerber é graduada em Música Popular pela UFRGS. Em 2019, lançou o álbum So Many Stories to Tell, participou no 9º Festival Internacional SESC de Música de Pelotas e produziu o show So Many Stories to Tell ao lado da Big Band da UFRGS. Em 2018, atuou como solista do Concerto Zaffari de Blues e Jazz ao lado da Orquestra Unisinos Anchieta, liderou o Mari Kerber Quarteto no 4º Festival BB Seguros de Blues e Jazz (Porto Alegre), participou do Berklee at Umbria Jazz Clinics, Itália, e atuou como solista do Concerto de Jazz – OSPA. Além dos já citados, completa o quarteto o guitarrista Antonio Flores.

The group was founded on the union of pianist Mari Kerber, Júlia Pezzi on bass and Rhuan de Moura on drums, to bring a fun musical experience on the stage and out of it as well, with blues arrangements, jazz and original songs. Their first appearance was at Sofar Sounds and at Camaleão Fest: Autoestima contra o Câncer – Ministry of tourism. Pianist, composer, and singer, Mari Kerber graduated in Popular Music from UFRGS. In 2019, released the album So Many Stories to Tell, performed at the 9º Festival Internacional SESC de Música de Pelotas, and produced the show So Many Stories to Tell featuring the Big Band of UFRGS. In 2018, performed as a soloist for Concerto Zaffari de Blues e Jazz featuring the Unisinos Anchieta Orchestra, lead the Mari Kerber Quarteto on the 4º Festival BB Seguros de Blues e Jazz (Porto Alegre), participated in the Berklee at Umbria Jazz Clinics, Italy, and performed as a soloist in Concerto de Jazz – OSPA. Besides all the other musicians listed, the guitar player Antonio Flores completes the quartet.
