Natural de Matão (SP), a pianista, compositora e educadora Eloá Gonçalves é mestre em Jazz Piano pela Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz (KUG), na Áustria, sob orientação de Olaf Polziehn. É bacharel e mestre em Música Popular pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). Sua discografia inclui 15 álbuns e 4 DVDs. Seu último lançamento liderando seu trio — Eloá Gonçalves TRIO (Casa / Alessa Records, 2020) — vem aparecendo em algumas das revistas de jazz mais aclamadas da Europa e dos Estados Unidos. Como instrumentista, já se apresentou e gravou com nomes como Sandy, Claudio Nucci, Zalon Thompson (Inglaterra), Vinicius Dorin, Nailor Azevedo “Proveta”, Ivan Vilela, Daniel Barry (EUA), Marcelo Martins, Marco Lobo, Joe Fiedler (EUA), Luis Bonilla (EUA), Sigi Feigl (Áustria), Vine St. Horns — Brad Cole & KUG Jazz Orchestra (EUA/Áustria), Kaya Meller Quartet (Polônia), Iñaki Askunze (Espanha), Jaka Arh Triptych (Eslovênia), Experience of the North (Dinamarca/Áustria), Cristina Miguel Martínez (Espanha), Mario Campos e Coletivo Orquestral, Rafael de Lima Quarteto, Orquestra Sinfônica da UNICAMP (2017), Orquestra Sinfônica de Indaiatuba (2016), Campinas Jazz Big Band e KUG Jazz Orchestra (Áustria). Em 2015, foi menção honrosa pela residência artística internacional One Beat — 2015 One Beat Honorable Mention, e finalista da mesma residência artística em 2016. A formação conta com Eloá Gonçalves ao piano, Cleber Almeida na bateria e Yuri Batista no contrabaixo.

One of the most acclaimed contemporary Brazilian instrumentalists, with many concerts in theaters and festivals in Brazil and abroad, such as Lincoln Center, in New York, Montreaux Jazz Academy, in Switzerland and Jazzahead in Bremen, Germany (2023), Amaro Freitas brings his solo concert to the opening night of Pianístico de Joinville. He was born in the outskirts of Recife, he learned music during his teenage years, in the evangelical church. He won a scholarship to study at the Conservatório Pernambucano de Música, as a student of Rafael Vernet. In 2016, Amaro Freitas released his debut album, “Sangue Negro”. In 2018, he was invited by singer Lenine to be part of the CD “Lenine em trânsito”, playing piano in the song “Lua candeia”. In the same year his album “Rasif” was released by the English label “Far Out Recordings”, which incorporates rhythms such as Frevo, Afrojazz, Maracatu, Coco and Baião. Still in 2018, he was part of “Brasil Music Exchange” – Música & Artes (BM & A). In 2020, he recorded with Milton Nascimento and Criolo the songs “Cais” e “Não existe amor em SP” and with Milton and the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra a version of the song “Drão”. In 2021, his album “Sankofa” was released by the English label “Far Out Recordings”. His work incorporates to the Jazz language, sounds and references from Brazilian Popular Culture, in addition to rhythmic elements of African music.
