6º Pianístico vai fazer Joinville vibrar
Ao longo de seis noites, Joinville reverencia outra vez, o piano – e, sobretudo, seus mais talentosos musicistas. Uma gama de ritmos, gêneros, estilos e, como sempre, desde sua estreia, grandes nomes do piano brasileiro e internacional subirão aos palcos do festival Pianístico, de 19 a 24 de setembro.
Nesta sexta edição – a segunda de 2023 –, o festival abre as portas com o jazzista pernambucano Amaro Freitas – talento nascido na periferia de Recife, hoje referência internacional. Consagrado mundo afora, Amaro exibe sua arte que busca traduzir ritmos bem nordestinos, como o frevo, o baião, o maxixe, para a linguagem jazzística. Reconhecido, também, pela ousadia de seu relacionamento com a música, tem uma abordagem do teclado que surpreende e encanta.
Na estreia do 6º Pianístico, traz o mesmo espetáculo que vêm apresentando em vários palcos pelo mundo e que o consagrou no Jazzahead 2023, feira e festival de jazz realizado anualmente no mês de abril, em Bremen, na Alemanha.
Como é de praxe neste encontro que se consolida como um dos mais importantes festivais de piano da América do Sul, o elenco de atrações dá destaque a nomes brasileiros, ao lado de uma seleção de músicos internacionais. Nesta edição, cinco pianistas são de outros países: um húngaro, uma americana, dois israelenses e um palestino.
Dentre os brasileiros, outro nome de ponta é o do carioca Jonathan Ferr, que ilumina o festival com a proposta de “tirar o elitismo do jazz”, traduzi-lo para todos os públicos e, sobretudo, promover a cura pela música. O artista reúne vários aspectos sonoros, sociais e espirituais para percorrer rotas que desconstroem a ideia de que a erudição deve ser inerente a estilos mais complexos.
Desde a primeira edição, em 2018, até hoje, algumas das maiores estrelas do piano já passaram por Joinville, em concertos irretocáveis e inesquecíveis, sucesso de público e crítica especializada.
Atração das mais aguardadas desta edição, o duo formado pelo judeu Yaron Kohlberg e pelo árabe Bishara Haroni estreou em 2008, na Opera House, em Oslo, Noruega, exibindo um excelente resultado musical, além de uma mensagem de paz e amizade. Os artistas já se apresentaram nas maiores casas de espetáculos do mundo. O duo, que promove uma combinação entre o clássico e a world music, acaba de compor uma peça que combina os hinos nacionais de Israel e da Palestina.
Como já se tornou tradicional, o festival realiza cursos e workshops de alto nível, e ações batizadas de Pianos pela Cidade e Pianístico nas Escolas. Nas atividades pedagógicas, busca aproximar os artistas do público e compartilhar conhecimento, experiências, tendências e atualizações. A ação chancela a valorização que o Pianístico dá ao aspecto formativo. Serão cinco workshops, dos quais quatro direcionados à prática musical ao piano, orientados para músicos e aficionados em geral, e um curso focado no ensino e aprendizado coletivo – este, dirigido especialmente a professores e alunos avançados. No total, 14 horas de cursos, ministrados por vários dos musicistas que também subirão aos palcos do Pianístico.
Uma iniciativa já consolidada leva o nome de Pianos pela Cidade e multiplica a música por vários ambientes, em empresas e estabelecimentos locais, abrindo espaço para artistas de Joinville.
Às vésperas da realização do festival, estudantes joinvilenses puderam entrar no ritmo da boa música com mais um Pianístico nas Escolas, que se desdobrou em oito apresentações do espetáculo intitulado “Uma pianística aventura”, com a pianista Naara Santana e o ator Luan Vinicius Cordeiro. A encenação traz um saboroso enredo infantil, enfatizando os aspectos de informação e formação da plateia do futuro. A ação visa sensibilizar a criança, incentivá-la e inspirá-la para o estudo da música e, em especial, deste instrumento.

The 6th edition of Pianístico will make Joinville vibrate
Throughout six nights, Joinville will once again revere the piano – and, above all, its talented musicians. A range of rhythms, genres, styles and, as always, since its debut, big names of the Brazilian and international piano will be on the stages of the Pianístico festival, September 19 – 24.
In its sixth edition – the second of 2023 – the festival will open its doors with Amaro Freitas, jazz musician from Pernambuco – talent born in the outskirts of Recife, he became an international reference. Celebrated all around the world, Amaro exhibits his art that searches to translate rhythms from northeastern Brazil, such as Frevo, Baião, Maxixe, to the language of Jazz. He is also known for his boldness in his relationship with music, with an approach to the keyboard that impresses and delights.
At the opening night of the 6th Pianístico, he brings the same spectacle he’s been performing on stages all over the world, the same that consecrated him at the 2023 Jazzahead, Jazz fair and festival, held annually in April, in Bremen, Germany.
As usual in this gathering, which has been consolidated as one of the most important piano festivals in South America, the list of presentations highlights Brazilian names, alongside a selection of international musicians. In this edition, five pianists come from foreign countries: one Hungarian, one American, two Israelis and one Palestinian.
Among the Brazilians, another important name is Jonathan Ferr, from Rio de Janeiro, that illuminates the festival with the proposition of “taking elitism out of jazz”, translating it to all audiences, and above all, promoting healing through music. The artist gathers several sound, social and spiritual aspects to travel routes that deconstruct the idea that erudition must be inherent to more complex styles.
Since its first edition, in 2018, until today, some of the biggest piano stars have been in Joinville, with flawless and unforgettable concerts, a major success in terms of audience and specialist critics.
One of the most awaited presentations, the duo formed by Yaron Kohlberg, Jewish, and Bishara Haroni, Arab, debuted in 2008, at the Opera House, in Oslo, Norway, exhibiting an excellent musical result, in addition to a message of peace and friendship. The duo, which promotes a combination between classical and world music, has just composed a piece that combines the national anthems of Israel and Palestine.
As it has become traditional, the festival holds high-level courses and workshops, and actions named Pianos pela Cidade (Pianos around the town) and Pianístico nas Escolas (Pianístico in Schools). The pedagogical activities aim to bring audiences and artists closer, and share knowledge, experiences, trends and updates.
The action seals the appreciation that Pianístico gives to the formative aspect. There will be five workshops, four of which are aimed at musical practice at the piano, oriented to musicians and aficionados in general, and a course focused on collective teaching and learning – this aimed especially at advanced teachers and students. In total, 14 hours of courses taught by several of the musicians that will also be on the stages of Pianístico.
An already consolidated initiative is called Pianos pela Cidade (Pianos around the town) and multiplies music in several environments in companies and local establishments, opening doors for artists from Joinville.
On the eve of the festival, students from Joinville were able to get into the rhythm of good music with one more Pianístico nas Escolas (Pianístico in Schools), which unfolded into eight presentations of the show entitled “Uma pianística aventura” (A Pianistic adventure), with pianist Naara Santana and actor Luan Vinicius Cordeiro. The staging brings the flavor of a storyline for children, emphasizing the aspects of formation and information of future audiences. The action aims to sensitize, encourage and inspire the children to study music and this instrument in particular.
