Pianista, compositor e produtor musical residente em Florianópolis (SC), Yves Tanuri é Bacharel em Composição e Regência (UFBA) e Mestre em Processos Criativos em Música (Udesc). Suas obras foram executadas no Encontro Nacional de Compositores Universitários em Belo Horizonte (2009), no XXI Seminários Internacionais de Música da UFBA (2009), no Concerto Jovens Compositores da EMUS/UFBA com a Orquestra Sinfônica da UFBA (2009), e no Druskomanija Festival (2011), na Lituânia, pelos grupos Duo Oneplsuone (Finlândia) e NHM String Quartet (Noruega). Participou do Sexta Jazz pela Aliança Francesa, na edição em homenagem à cantora Erykah Badu (2019), às cantoras Norah Jones e Erykah Badu (2024) e no especial Hermeto Pascoal (2023). Participou do Floripa Jazz (2019) com a Big Band Udesc, e no “Laboratório Instrumental” na Cervejaria Sambaqui e no no Jazzinn Gastrobar em homenagens a Charlie Parker, John Coltrane e Miles Daves. Realizou o projeto “Konnaclaves – Oficina de Ritmos Brasileiros e Processos Criativos” e participou como produtor musical e instrumentista da trilha sonora do filme “Rir Pra Não Chorar”, da cineasta brasileira Cibele Amaral. Apresentou-se também em festivais como o Alma Festiva (2022), Floripa Jazz (2022), Floripa Instrumental (2023), Santa Cruz Jazz’n’Blues Festival (2023), Harmonia Jazz Festival em Joinville (2023) e no Poa Jazz Festival (2023) em Porto Alegre. Apresenta-se nesta edição do Pianístico de Joinville ao lado de Alexandre Vicente ao contrabaixo e Victor Bub na bateria.

One of the most acclaimed contemporary Brazilian instrumentalists, with many concerts in theaters and festivals in Brazil and abroad, such as Lincoln Center, in New York, Montreaux Jazz Academy, in Switzerland and Jazzahead in Bremen, Germany (2023), Amaro Freitas brings his solo concert to the opening night of Pianístico de Joinville. He was born in the outskirts of Recife, he learned music during his teenage years, in the evangelical church. He won a scholarship to study at the Conservatório Pernambucano de Música, as a student of Rafael Vernet. In 2016, Amaro Freitas released his debut album, “Sangue Negro”. In 2018, he was invited by singer Lenine to be part of the CD “Lenine em trânsito”, playing piano in the song “Lua candeia”. In the same year his album “Rasif” was released by the English label “Far Out Recordings”, which incorporates rhythms such as Frevo, Afrojazz, Maracatu, Coco and Baião. Still in 2018, he was part of “Brasil Music Exchange” – Música & Artes (BM & A). In 2020, he recorded with Milton Nascimento and Criolo the songs “Cais” e “Não existe amor em SP” and with Milton and the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra a version of the song “Drão”. In 2021, his album “Sankofa” was released by the English label “Far Out Recordings”. His work incorporates to the Jazz language, sounds and references from Brazilian Popular Culture, in addition to rhythmic elements of African music.
